Selling

Valuations

We advise vendors to seek valuations on their items before they are submitted for sale. Learn more about our free valuations at our Services page.

Delivering your Item

If you are interested in selling one of your items, you can either arrange to have your items delivered to us, or you can bring them in to our saleroom yourself. Appointments are not necessary, just bring in your items from 09.00-16.00 Monday - Friday. If you are local and are submitting numerous items for sale, we can arrange for our staff to come and collect the items for you, given that there are at least two items with an estimate over £100; to learn more, see our Services page. Please be aware that we do not accept items between the publication of our catalogue and auction day.

Charges

£10.20 per lot entered (£6.50 cataloguing/research/photography + £2 insurance + VAT) plus 15% commission + VAT on final hammer price, if the item sells.

Auction Results

To observe the progress of your lot/s you can watch, listen or read live feed from our sale via any of our online auction partners.

You are welcome to contact us if you are unsure if your lot/s sold.

Post Auction

All successful vendors will receive a cheque or bank transfer 30 days after the auction, after subtracting lotting fees, 15% commission + VAT. Unsold items must either be re-entered into the next auction or collected; Crow's Auctions Ltd retains the right to dispose of uncollected items as they see fit.
